Drift

To The Moon And Never Back

Drift is an artist specializing in capturing the essence of exploration. He is an Army special operations veteran and a Muslim revert. He believes that when we are exploring this world we are simultaneously exploring both ourselves and our Creator. As a Muslim, he holds that in our pursuit and searching of things beyond our reach, we are consciously (or unconsciously) searching for Allah (God); and that all of the beauty we are so constantly encompassed by is merely a painting pointing towards the painter, who is God himself. Drift has coined the phrase "To The Moon And Never Back" because he believes there is truly no limit to the places that faith can take us if we only decide total the first step. The goal of his work is to portray to viewers that there is more, more to themselves and to this world, and that if they can begin to grasp that they will conquer fear and life in a way they've never known and become the best version of themselves they can be.
